Modules description
Our course can be completed on one’s own or with the help of a coach. Each module starts with a warm-up session and has a stretching session in thе end.
Our coach will answer your questions regarding the course.
Module 1. The stance
The initial position necessary to be prepared for combat. Maintaining your stance and staying focused. Different stances. Fighting stance adjustment. Protecting your chin. Foot positioning. Fists, upper arms, elbows and shoulders. Punch preparation. Body relaxation. Working out your stance in statics and in dynamics.
Module 2. The basics of punching
The types of punches in boxing. Punch preparation. Staying balanced while punching. Making your punching quicker. Fist bandaging.
Module 3. The jab
The technique of the jab. Throwing a jab from different stances and different distance. Jabbing with either hand.
Module 4. The hook
Fist trajectory. The benefits of the hook – how to make it fast and rapid. Footwork and torso movement while throwing hooks. Defending while throwing hooks.
Module 5. The uppercut
The uppercut technique. Using the uppercut in combat. The distance. Punch preparation. Throwing the uppercut and defending. Making your uppercut powerful.
Module 6. Boxing combos
A 1-2, a 1-2-3 combo and more. Finishing punches.
