Bryan Wiener graduated from Georgetown University in 2000, whereupon he began his trading career on the floor of the CME in the S&P 500 Options Pit. Bryan continued trading as an independent electronic options trader at Simplex Investments in 2006 before earning a Masters in Financial Mathematics at the University of Chicago in 2008. Immediately upon graduation, Bryan joined Haim Bodek’s Trading Machines in Stamford, CT as a systematic options trader, later becoming Head Trader. I am an industry veteran who has lived and breathed options for nearly a decade and a half. Having started out as a market maker on the floor of the CME, I went on to trade my own capital as a retail customer while completing my graduate degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago.
