Following completion of the program, participants will be able to identify patients with diabetes who could benefit from continuous glucose monitoring, prescribe and apply the device for their patients, document utility in chart notes, obtain coverage from insurance payors or direct cash paying patients to distributors, instruct patients on how to personally benefit from data obtained, bill in the office for insertions, interpretation, and clinic follow up, download the data from the CGM for clinical interpretation for medication, and life style intervention, and continued utilization for the patient and provider to mutually benefit from this real time glucose data.
