Her books include: Shadows of the Sacred: Seeing Through Spiritual Illusions; The Inward Arc: Healing in Psychotherapy and Spirituality; and Awakening Intuition. She has served as president of the Association for Transpersonal and Humanistic Psychology, and was formerly on the clinical faculty at the University of California, Irvine. She is currently a trustee of the Fetzer Institute, a philanthropic foundation supporting research and education in mind-body-spirit health, and core faculty for the Alaya Institute end-of-life counselor training program.
