LONNIE BARBACH, PHDLONNIE BARBACH, PHD, is a clinical-social psychologist, formerly on the clinical faculty at UCSF Medical School, and has a private practice in San Francisco and Mill Valley. She has received numerous awards for her work and has written audio tapes, video tapes and over a dozen books on relationships, sexuality and menopause. From For Yourself: The Fulfillment of Female Sexuality to The Pause: Positive Approaches to Perimenopause and Menopause, Dr. Barbach has guided countless women through the stages of sexual discovery.
