Digital Social Marketing Consultant (DSMC) by Tai Lopez is a pioneering program that teaches people how to become digital social media marketing consultants.

Who Is Tai Lopez?

Tai Lopez is a self-help guru and digital marketing expert who I’ve been following since 2014.

I actually shared this review of Tai Lopez a couple of years ago.

He believes so strongly in Social Media marketing that in 2016, he said that the fledgling Snapchat and Instagram stories were arguably the most powerful marketing platforms besides YouTube.

Is The DSMC Program A Scam?

DSMC is not a scam.

Other than being provided by a guy whose reputation precedes him (Tai is a successful digital marketing expert), this program requires you to put in a bit of work – scams promise you riches without requiring you to have any meaningful input.

You have to dress up nicely, go outside your house, and meet business people to convince them that they need your services.

That sounds like honest work to me.

Pros

As you get better at social media marketing, you can stop relying on Tai’s program and strike out on your own.
You can automate the process of generating a marketing plan using Tai’s software.
You don’t have to implement the social media marketing strategy yourself (which is the hardest part of the job), you just need to hand the client over to an agency and they’ll do it.
You do not need to have prior digital marketing experience to join.

Cons

You still need to have some marketing experience. You have to present yourself to prospective customers and show them that they need your help to improve their business.
