She has worked as a psychotherapist and program coordinator in Minnesota, Louisiana and North Carolina. Ms. Holmen was a national trainer with the CMI Education Institute, providing a seminar on substance abuse to fellow clinicians. At present she is in private practice, owns her own consulting and training business, and is an Adjunct Professor in Social Work at St. Cloud State University., has over 35 years of experience in counseling, public speaking, program development and training. She has worked as a psychotherapist and program coordinator in Minnesota, Louisiana and North Carolina. Ms. Holmen was a national trainer with the CMI Education Institute, providing a seminar on substance abuse to fellow clinicians.
