Dr. Vargo attended the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her orthopedic surgery residency training at Cleveland Clinic- Southpointe, formerly Brentwood Hospital. Her fellowship training at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville focused on Adult Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle.

Dr. Vargo, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon,  specializes in total ankle replacement, ankle arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction, bunion surgery as well as treatment for rheumatoid deformities and complex fractures of the ankle and foot. In addition, she uses nonsurgical and injury prevention treatments.  Her special focuses include: total ankle replacement, ankle arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction, complex fractures of the foot and ankle, complex deformity correction, cartilage preservation, fracture management, dance injuries, sports medicine, rheumatoid deformities, and bunion surgery.

Dr. Vargo was in Private practice in suburban Chicago for 18 years and now practices at Riverside Orthopedic Specialists in Williamsburg.
