MythoSelf Professional Training: Module 1 – will present the basic MythoSelf Process model, emphasizing G.D.S., G.T.S. and INTENT, the fundamental components of working the model. You will learn to apply the basic and advanced patterns of language used to both elicit and install G.D.S. and INTENT.

First Joseph will work with the entire group using both direct and indirect metaphor to elicit the G.D.S. (Generalized Desired State).The G.D.S. is the primary baseline experience that we work with in the MythoSelf Process. What makes the G.D.S. so powerful is that it generalizes across the entire life experience of the client. Rather than focusing on situational change the MythoSelf Process work is transformation, seeking to initiate a fundamental change in the system that both generalizes and stabilizes a powerful operating position, from which to create all the outcomes you intend regardless of the application. G.T.S. (Greater Than Self) is a secondary movement beyond the G.D.S. to a position that is transpersonal. The G.T.S. internalizes the experience of context that resides beyond individual experience, placing them firmly in relationship to it. This allows the individual to dramatically increase their sensitivity to the signals in the system and to respond powerfully while remaining fully engaged within the context. This effect of the G.T.S. access may be most evident in intimate personal and professional relationships. As we use it, INTENT, refers to the Trajectory of INTENT. Being in INTENT, or on the Trajectory of INTENT, positions the individual in relation to the G.D.S. and G.T.S. simultaneously, establishing a potent way of operating through time in relation to the outcomes you intend for yourself and with others. When you have firmly organized yourself relative to the Trajectory of INTENT you will naturally and effortlessly update your responses in an ongoing way. This way of operating insures that you maintain your relationship to being yourself, while you are simultaneously in the process of becoming.

The intention of Module 1 of the MythoSelf Professional Training is to develop access to the fundamentals within the MythoSelf Process, G.D.S., G.T.S. and INTENT experientially. Before we work on developing the skills to work with clients or deepen the states we work with, it’s essential to develop personal familiarity with your own access to these states.

Beginning with individuated experience of the G.D.S. and G.T.S. states, and the oscillation between them that generates the unified state experience of INTENT, we will move to developing the awareness and skills necessary to create your outcomes on your own and with others efficiently and effectively.
