Dustin Higgins – Diabetes Has Finally Met Its Match: Come Meet the New Diabetes Toolbox

The audience will gain a better understanding of new drugs and treatments for diabetes and which testing is appropriate based on a patient’s symptoms.

1. Identify new diabetes treatment options
2. Assess the patients to appropriately initiate new treatment protocols
3. Implement new diabetes protocols with new medications
4. Identify potential side effects and contradictions of new diabetes medications
5. Further, be able to improve diabetes treatment

The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. MAOPS designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation.
