On 3 March, Brian David Phillips conducted an extensive introductory workshop on VICARIOUS EXPERIENTIAL MACHINE: Trance Techniques for Physical Skill Acceleration in Keelung, Taiwan.

The Vicarious eXperiential Machine is a trance construct in which a person models a visual activity . . . feeling within their own body what they see before them (video, film, photo, or even based upon reading). It can also be done without a visual cue for modeling a physical activity. Taking advantage of deep trance experience and how mirror neurons can be employed to accelerate mastery of physical skills, this is a very powerful process for learning and mastery of physical skill sets.

Essentially, this experiential hypnosis process employs a model of “what you see is what you feel” and then turbo charges that with some powerful time dilation and repetition protocol that essentially creates neurological pathways and greatly enhances muscle memory as the trance partner creates an experience in a few moments that works AS IF they have executed the same movement in physical space a hundred or more times, causing a muscle memory pattern to emerge for skill enhancement and skill improvement acceleration.
