Andrea Keller – Heart Health and Pregnancy: Predicting Cardiovascular Health

Physiologic changes in the cardiovascular system during pregnancy can have long-term effects. Dr. Andrea Keller identifies the potential risks and complications related to pregnancy.

Objectives:

• Treat common pregnancy complications with potential long-term implications
• Know how the biological changes associated with pregnancy may lead to cardiovascular disease 
• Recommend modifiable behaviors to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease during pregnancy and postpartum
